Materials and Care

Your coat can be washed in a washing machine at temperatures up to 40 degrees celcius.
- Only use non-biological powders/liquids. Do not use fabric conditioners or softeners, or dual action tablets.

Tumble drying is not recommended.

A warm water resistant dog jumper made from softshell which has a bonded fleece backing. The result is a warm, breathable fabric that will protect your dog from the elements.

The jumper has a zip up the back meaning that it is easy to put on your dog with no requirement to manipulate your dog's legs into the leg-holes. There is also a flap underneath the zip to protect your dog's fur when fastening it and prevent hair from getting caught in the zipper teeth.

The flap at the collar which fastens with hook and loop helps hold the collar in position so that the zip doesn't start to open. It is also useful to fasten the hook and loop after your dog has stepped into the coat and before you start to zip up the coat.

Frida’s had a haircut

. . , and she needed a warm coat. This soft shell is perfect. The medium size fits a smallish Working Cocker perfectly and the zip opening all the way down the back makes it very easy to put it on a fidget. Very pleased with it, and it compliments her Morlich raincoat perfectly.

A coat that fits my Springer!

Large boy Springer 10 never had the benefit of a coat until I found Freckles. The fit is perfect and easy to put on and off and he's wearing it. Lovely warm fleece lightweight but the quality is superb.. Highly recommend for any and all dogs especially if you have one who is outside of normal sizing but you want quality and value for money and something a little unique..

Love them.

I first saw Freckles designs at Scone horse trials. I ordered each of my spaniels the softshell jackets as we do a lot of hill walking and the spaniels can be quite pathetic when they get cold. These jackets are great, fit fab (Fern's was custom made size wise), light weight for me to carry in a rucksack, keep the dogs warm/dry AND don't rip when the dogs go hunting in the undergrowth.
Will definitely buy more from Freckles...we have the tartan fleeces on our Santa list.
