AFFRIC HI-VIS VEST - YELLOW (L)

£27.00 £45.00

Materials and Care

The vest can be stored wet for short periods of time in the plastic bag provided, for example if you are going out for the day. However, do not store your vest in the plastic bag for a long period of time as mildew may occur.

When not in use, fold the vest up while wet, and it will become dry and hard and then can be safely stored away.

DO NOT try and unfold it is hard and dry as it may tear. Instead when you are ready to use it again, rewet it by soaking it in a sink or bucket and it will become soft and supple again and can then be unfolded.

If required, the vest can be machine washed at 30 degrees celcius or hand rinsed in cool water. Only use non-biological powders/liquids. Do not use fabric conditioners or softeners, or dual action tablets.

Size Guide

Please note that the breed guide is a suggestion only and I would always recommend measuring your dog to ensure that the coat you purchase is a good fit.

Custom Sizes

I also make custom size coats and the price of the coats are based on the length of the coat. There are separate product pages for custom sizes for each of the coat styles.

*** Please note that actual length of this vest is 41cm from the base of the neck and is designed as a short vest. ***

The Affric is a high visibility dog vest made from softshell which is warm, breathable and water resistant.

I have designed it primarily as a visibility aid for free running movement but the fabric and coverage of the chest area will also provide protection from the elements.

Made from hi-vis yellow softshell fabric, there is also reflective piping on both sides of the vest which aids your ability to see them in the dark.

The dog vest has a zip up the back meaning that it is easy to put on your dog with no requirement to manipulate your dog's legs into the leg-holes. There is also a flap underneath the zip to protect your dog's fur when fastening and prevent hair from getting caught in the zipper teeth.

The flap at the collar which fastens with hook and loop helps hold the collar in position so that the zip doesn't start to open. It is also useful to fasten the hook and loop after your dog has stepped into the coat and before you start to zip up the coat.
